WA PURE CALCIUM CLAY

It is common to see animals eat or lick dirt. There is actually a clinical term for it called Geophagy. Geophagy is far more common in animals that rely predominately on plant food. Clay is basically dirt with amazing therapeutic properties and may help explain why some horses would rather drink from a mud hole than from a bucket with clean tap water. Pure Bentonite Clay is considered as one of the most effective, natural intestinal detoxifying agents.
Benefits
Natural toxin binder
Improves nutrient absorption
Acts as an alkaline agent to reduce acidosis (may assist ulcer-prone horse)
Powerful drawing and healing properties.
Helps cleanse the digestive tract and may help relieve constipation
Dosage
Add approximately 50g to a large bucket of water, mix and allow animals to drink as required. Always supply a normal water source as well. Horses will self medicate. Wash out any remaining clay from the bucket and replenish every 3-4 days. Do not put clay in a metal bath or trough as it neutralizes the health benefits.
Topical applications of Bentonite Clay may be useful for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, wound healing, and to help draw out poison from ant, bee, wasp, and similar bug stings/bites. Topical application of Bentonite Clay helps reduce inflammation, irritation, itching, and swelling. May also be applied to hot spots and legs as a poultice after heavy work. Bentonite Clay may be mixed with water to form a poultice.
Contains naturally occurring ingredients: Bentonite, Calcium, Potassium, Iron and Magnesium.
May be of benefit for improving or promoting health or production or performance. Consult a vet before treating any illness.
