Rosehip is the small seed pod of the dog rose (Rosa canina) which remains after flowering.

Feeding Rosehip for Laminits
Rosehip is well recognised for its exceedingly high Vitamin C content which can alleviate stress of all kinds. Rosehips are also a circulatory stimulant particularly in dense capillary beds (such as the coronet band of the foot which is compromised by laminitis). Natural source of biotin aids in healthy hoof growth along with being a circulatory stimulant.
Dosage
Between 30g - 100g per day/500kg horse depending on the level of work and feeding goal (i.e maintenance, treatment of illness etc).
30g = 2 tablespoons approximately.
