Sand impaction is responsible for a large number of colic cases in equines. Equilax was formuated by veterinarians to help maintain healthy digestion by assisting the movement of sand and dirt through the gut.

It does so by forming a gelatinous mass that carries the food along the gastrointestinal tract. This product does not blow away like regular psyllium powder and is apple flavoured and extruded for optimum safety and palatability.
