Common Uses of White Filter Housings

1. Point-of-Use Filtration
   1. Often found under sinks or in countertop systems.
   2. Used for drinking water, coffee machines, ice makers, and similar applications.
2. Aesthetic & Indoor Use
   1. White housings are generally used indoors where appearance matters.
   2. They blend well with kitchen or utility room environments.
3. Standard Sediment or Carbon Filtration
   1. Compatible with polyspun, pleated, or carbon block cartridges.
   2. Used to remove sediment, chlorine, taste, and odor.
4. Lower UV Resistance
   1. Unlike blue or black housings, white ones may not block light as effectively.
   2. This makes them less suitable for outdoor use or areas exposed to sunlight, as light can promote algae or bacterial growth inside the housing.
5. Residential Applications
   1. Common in home filtration systems, especially where water quality is relatively good and heavy-duty protection isn’t needed.
