FILTER SEDIMENT PLEATED 5 MICRON

There are two styles of sediment filter cartridges; a reusable/washable pleated filter cartridge or a single use polyspun filter cartridge. The cartridges range from 1 micron that will eliminate fine sediment through to a 50 micron pore size to eliminate grit and particulate matter. Filter cartridges should be changed or cleaned regularly (6- 10 months) or as static head loss is recognised. Sediment Filter cartridges do not remove chemical taste or smell and should not be used with microbiologically unsafe water. The system should be flushed and disinfected for 10 minutes upon filter replacement.
