Hex Head Type 17 with Seal
Where to use: For fixing Roofing and Cladding (with EPDM washer to weather seal). Complies with Australian Standards AS 3566.2002.2.
Point Type: Self drilling Type 17 hardened point and course thread designed to drill into timber thin metal.
Head Type: Hex Head with broad flanged base for use in structural applications where holding power is paramount.
Instructions:
1. Use 5/16" hex socket - 10 & 12g.
2. Recommended drill speed 1000RPM approx.
3. To prevent the screw running off when fixing, create a pop mark or pre-drilled hole on cladding.
